Networking at conferences is a great way to meet new people. If you experience shyness or anxiety when you meet new people, this workshop offers strategies to help you overcome these feelings. You are encouraged to come with an open mind to learn and practice networking techniques!
The workshop will provide you with:
1. Practical networking tips to help you open doors and build connections,
2. A short overview of communities of practice and academic cultures,
3. Strategies and "hands on" practice to refine your networking skills, and
4. An opportunity to practice networking etiquette.
