PART 1: Research Funds
10:00am - 11:30am (MC103)
- How to get them.
- How to manage them.
- How to maximize them.
Dr Cherif Aidara, Associate Director, Grants and Agreements (Natural Sciences and Engineering), Ms. Giovanna Sebastiani,Associate Director, Grants and Agreements (Biomedical), and Dr. Christian Chouinard,Senior Grants and Agreements Officer will provide valuable insights into the grant writing and management process.
PART 2: Panel Discussion
11:30am - 12:30pm (MC103)
A panel of researchers will talk about their experiences with different funding agencies in writing and managing grants.
PART 3: Lunch
12:30pm - 2:15pm (MC437)
CREATE-MIA trainees will have the opportunity to speak informally to Ms. Sebastiani, Dr. Aidara, Dr. Chouinard, and the panelists about grants over lunch.
