Part 1: Journal paper writing in the biomedical imaging sciences
Prof. Amir Shmuel will give a 45 minute overview.
Part 2: “Abstract Writing exercises for conferences in the biomedical imaging sciences”
Prof. Louis Collins will lead a hands on session in which he will cover the basics of abstract writing, including the do's and don'ts. Trainees will refine an abstract they have prepared in advance and there will be self-evaluation of their work as well as an evaluation by Prof. Collins.
*** IMPORTANT: Students should bring their laptops and a 1 page abstract to work on.
Lunch will be provided.
