Biography
Professor Jean Belzile has a background in computer science and telecommunications. He successively held positions as professor of electrical engineering, director of research and industrial relations at ÉTS, assistant deputy minister in charge of innovation at the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Exportations, and finally interim director of academic affairs and industrial relations at ÉTS. He was involved in a large number of industrial projects with startup business enterprises, small businesses and large organizations. He has also been the co-founder and CTO of a company. He is the author of approximately 50 scientific communications and 20 patents, and also served on many boards of directors.
