CREATE-MIA Days

CREATE-MIA Days are full-day events which typically occur one Friday per month during the Fall and Winter terms during which trainees:

• listen to seminars on a diverse set of topics in medical imaging
• acquire professional skills through presentations by industrial partners, non-academic members of the University community, and invited experts in their fields
• acquire technical skills not typically acquired as part of a graduate program
• expand their professional networks as they get a chance to meet with the invited speakers

They are also excellent opportunities for trainees to  network among themselves - each CREATE-MIA Day brings together trainees from 3 universities and from 7 labs.  Attendance at CREATE-MIA Days is considered to be mandatory for all trainees.
