Arnaud Brignol

I obtained an engineering degree from ESIEE, France (2011) and a master's degree from Université de Montréal (2015) in computer science. I am currently a PhD student in medical image analysis under the supervision of Prof. C. Laporte in the Department of Electrical Engineering at École de Technologie Supérieure. My research focuses on the 3D analysis of spinal deformities due to adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, where ultrasound imaging is being considered as a safe alternative to X-ray imaging for tracking the evolution of the disease. I find my passion in applying concepts from non linear analysis methods and chaos theory to tackle the challenges encountered in the field of medical imaging and signal processing.
