Workshop

The workshop will consist of two portions. The first, "IP: What's in it for me?", aims to give participants a better understanding of what IP is and how to make the most of their inventions and creations by protecting the IP built into them.  Subjects discussed will include trade secrets, patents, trade-marks, copyright, and industrial designs.

The second part of the workshop will be the presentation of a case study which will explore the issues of IP and software ownership.

Participants in this workshop will be required to complete some preparatory work in advance of the event. This will be distributed to successful registrants approximately 1 week in advance.
